In order to implement highly trustworthy management, Fuji Oil Co., Ltd. is proactively pursuing the acquisition of international certification for its management system.
Since the year before last, as well as taking action to prevent foreign substances entering our products and pollution by harmful micro-organisms by enhancing our HACCP management, we have also implemented visual “food defense” measures including the installation of safety and security cameras and the elimination of pockets from employee clothing. We also commenced work on the acquisition of FSSC22000, a GFSI approved standard, and succeeded in acquiring it for the frozen tofu plant at Hannan Business Operations Complex and the Kobe plant (Fuji Kobe Foods Co., Ltd.).
Fuji Oil plans to expand this initiative to other plants, and continue to provide safe, reassuring products to our customers.
