Customer Based Quality Assurance Structure
Fuji Oil has established a Quality Control Department to check that products and the manufacturing process meet out standards in each process from raw material procurement to production and shipment.
In addition, an independent Quality Assurance Department has been established to provide companywide product and process verification, and to verify that laws are observed and products are customer-based and of high quality. The Quality Assurance Department tirelessly collects information regarding laws and the food industry, and shares this both internally and with group companies.
Furthermore, we usually implement an annual quality inspection at each of our plants in Japan and our subcontractors, and audit the state of production management and other aspects. Each month we also hold a Safety, Quality, and Environment Conference in which reports are made by relevant divisions concerning problems and issues as well as measure to deal with these, and thus share information in order to take companywide action to prevent the same issues from arising again.
