Customer Based Quality Assurance Structure
Fuji Oil has established a Quality Control Department to check that products and the manufacturing process meet out standards in each process from raw material procurement to production and shipment.
Additionally, we have established a Quality Assurance Department as an independent organization to verify that laws are observed and whether our products are considered high quality from the customer’s perspective. They investigate products and manufacturing processes related to food safety companywide. The Quality Assurance Department tirelessly collects information regarding laws and the food industry, and shares this both internally and with group companies.
In our Safety Quality & Environment Audit Department, we internally audit the safety, quality and the environment for our plants in Japan and our group companies. Moreover, we perform quality inspections at contract manufacturers and audit the state of our production management. Furthermore, our domestic plants all received the ISO22000 or FSSC22000 certification related to food safety at the end of 2019 and we are continuing to work to provide safe and secure products. Each month we also hold a Safety, Quality, and Environment Conference in which reports are made by relevant divisions concerning problems and issues as well as measure to deal with these, and thus share information in order to take companywide action to prevent the same issues from arising again.
